ELVIS PRESLEY – “CLAMBAKE” (LSP-3893) – FIRST PRESSING FROM 1967, WITH ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!                                         

RECORD: VG+ on the high end, with very pleasing original gloss. There are some very light surface scuffs that should not have any effect on the audible performance of this Indianapolis pressing. This Original Soundtrack should play great from start to finish! The labels are clean and attractive with just some light spindle marks. This album enjoyed only a short time at department stores and record stores across America in 1967, being deleted from Elvis’ “Great LP Catalog” in 1968. That plays a big role in the reason that collectors seek this album out in earnest today. This album includes the hit singles “BIG BOSS MAN / YOU DON’T KNOW ME” as well as “GUITAR MAN”. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S.

COVER:  VG++ with full, original shrink wrap! Because of the shrink wrap, there is virtually no ring wear on this cover. There is, however, a lower left corner bump as well as a small amount of wear at the lower right corner, which is very trivial. The original “Kmart” price sticker of $3.47 remains entirely affixed to the shrink! This is one very beautiful cover that deserves placement in a high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
