ELVIS PRESLEY - “CLAMBAKE” (LSP-3893), AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1967 THAT IS COMPLETE WITH BONUS PHOTO!        RECORD: VG+ with full original gloss. I test-played this Indianapolis pressing in its entirety and it sounded great! There seems to be a very short trail-in on Side 1, Track 1 ("Guitar Man") which sounds like a skip at the start of the song. Under close scrutiny, I cannot detect any scratch in that area. Perhaps a pressing defect? The remainder of the record plays perfectly, but with occasional light "ticks" that do not override the listening pleasure. The vocals and instrumentation are clear and strong! The labels are simply beautiful, showing just a few very light spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released as a "one-time-deal" in November of 1967 and not to be reissued until September of 1977! It includes the hit singles "Big Boss Man / You Don't Know Me" and "Guitar Man", which was written by Jerry Reed. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S. Everybody loves a Clambake! 
  COVER: VG+ with a 1-inch lower right seam split as well as a lower left corner bend. The spine shows some minor cracking in that area, but remains fully intact and is fully legible. Some light ring wear is noticed, although the front and back exhibits nice, original sheen. This is quite an attractive cover, in spite of the aforementioned minor flaws.  
  INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40C) sleeve from the era. A lower central split is observed.

BONUS PHOTO:  VG++ (EXC) with a 2-inch bend midway down on the right side as well as some minor wrinkles from handling over the years. The back side remains very clean and white. A very popular Bonus Photo!
