💿 DESCRIPTION The original 1957 first pressing of the best-selling Christmas album of all time. This is the authentic LOC-1035 Mono release, packaged in the iconic gatefold cover with the red faux-leather (leatherette) texture and the gold title stamp. Crucially, this copy includes the original attached photo booklet inside the gatefold, which is often missing or torn out in other copies. It features classic tracks like "Blue Christmas," "Santa Claus Is Back In Town," and "Silent Night." 💎 CONDITION VINYL: very good plus (Vg+) COVER: very good plus (Vg+)
The fragile red faux-leather cover is notorious for peeling. This copy shows the typical chipping and flaking along the spine and edges (see photos), which is almost unavoidable with this specific album design. no tears or splits. However, the front and back panels are bright, and the inner booklet is intact and attached, which is the most important factor for value. 🧾 NOTES FOR COLLECTORS

  • 1S / 1S First Stamper: This is the "Holy Grail" of matrix numbers. Both Side 1 and Side 2 runouts end in "-1S". This denotes the very first set of stampers used at the factory. These are the earliest possible pressings of this album and are highly prized for their audio fidelity and historical proximity to the master tape.

  • Pressing Plant: The runout groove features a stamped "I", identifying this as a product of RCA's Indianapolis plant.

  • Completeness: finding a 1st Pressing LOC-1035 with the booklet attached is becoming increasingly difficult.
