Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 EP release of Christmas With Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA- 4340 dog on side) is ONLY in VERY GOOD- condition with some marks/scratches and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels have ringwear / scuff marks and a name written in pencil (see photos).
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $90 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 55 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS or WRITING!
There is some damage to the white banner at the bottom and some damage to the top corner of the slick.
The rear of the sleeve is quite nice (see photos)
That said though this is a hard sleeve to find and is a great affordable collection filler until that Mint $250 ( £200+) version comes along
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $120 (£100 approx)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £105.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
