From RCA Records (LSP-3893), this is CLAMBAKE by ELVIS PRESLEY,
an original pressing from October 10, 1967, in astounding condition. The jacket
is sturdy with absolutely no issues save two: a young Elvis fan, Michelle, has
written her name in small letters top front cover; a minor crease (hardly worth
mentioning) upper right corner front (please see photos). With these tiny flaws
noted the cover easily rates NEAR MINT or better. The photo is pristine, flawless
and exhibits that finely textured surface making it suitable for framing. The photo
is breath-taking, simply MINT! The original inner sleeve is NEAR MINT showing
only the faintest whisper of aging -- no tears, creases, warping or any of the other
bad things that can happen to paper. Now we come to the pièce de résistance, the LP.
To say it is MINT is to do it an injustice for it is beyond MINT with the deep
groove label both sides and "1S" in the matrix also both sides. No spindle marks are
present which suggests it has never been played and certainly appears so.
We have preserved each item separately in protective bags (the LP in separate
jacket) for shipping and for your long-term storage needs at home. This is something
of a holy grail for the Elvis collector. Elsewhere on eBay for as much as $399.99.
