Description

Offered here is a complete original run of Elvis Presley’s Sun Records 45 RPM singles, representing the very first commercial recordings of Elvis Presley and the birth of rock & roll. This set includes all five original Sun 45 releases with authentic push marks, confirming true early pressings:


Sun 209 – That’s All Right / Blue Moon of Kentucky

Sun 210 – Good Rockin’ Tonight / I Don’t Care If the Sun Don’t Shine

Sun 215 – Milkcow Blues Boogie / You’re a Heartbreaker

Sun 217 – Baby Let’s Play House / I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone

Sun 223 – Mystery Train / I Forgot to Remember to Forget


The highlight of this collection is Sun 209 with the legendary upside-down label misprint, an error found only on a very small number of the earliest pressings — believed to be among the first hundred or so Elvis records ever manufactured in the United States. This pressing predates Elvis’ RCA contract and represents his first true commercial release.


All records retain their original Sun labels with push-out centers, consistent with 1954–1955 Memphis pressings. These are not later reissues, foreign pressings, or reproductions — this is a true original Sun run, rarely found intact as a complete set.



Vinyl grades range from G+ to VG+. All records play through but show expected wear consistent with early Sun pressings, including surface scuffs, light scratches, and cosmetic flaws from decades of handling. Several labels show writing and general wear, and there are visible signs of age throughout.


All copies except “Mystery Train” exhibit the well-known early Sun “whoosh” / hiss characteristic, which is inherent to these pressings and largely reduced when played with a proper vintage-style mono cartridge and stylus.
