Description
As I continue to auction my 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have the opportunity to bid on this EXCELLENT copy of "DOUBLE TROUBLE" (LPM-3787). This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in 1967 on the RCA Victor label and is the scarcer Monaural version. By 1967 when this LP was released, the demand for Stereo records was significantly exceeding demand for Monaural records and therefore, the Monaural records were being produced and sold in much smaller numbers. This very attractive, glossy record is a First Pressing, with just a few very light surface scratches that should have no affect on the listening enjoyment. The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): UPRM - 3943--4S and (Side 2): UPRM - 3944-4S. The labels are beautiful, NM with barely a spindle mark to be found. The cover is EXCELLENT with the shrinkwrap still fully intact! The only detraction keeping this cover from full NM is some corner bending to the upper left. Such a shame because this cover would be nearly perfect if not for that (see photo). in spite of this blemish, this record and its cover would be a sure compliment to any collection of high-end Elvis records and/or memorabilia! This album will come with its original "ELVIS" Inner Sleeve from the era. This record will be shipped with the record separated from the cover to prevent seam splits from the record sliding around during transit.
Please note: I ship all records in cardboard record mailers and not those flimsy bubblewrap envelopes that offer no real protection against breakage.
