Elvis Presley / Dinah Shore - Too Much (DJ-56), 45 EP "Not For Sale" - EXC

You have the opportunity to bid on this super-rare DJ PROMO 45 EP (DJ-56 - 47-6800 / 47-6792 - NOT FOR SALE - RCA VICTOR on labels), with ELVIS PRESLEY on one side and DINAH SHORE on the other side! This EP is in EXCELLENT condition! How often do you encounter such rarities as this??? How many of these are actually still in existance, especially in this lofty grade? Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana" has this record valued at $300 in Near Mint! Any Elvis aficionado would be proud to have this in his or her collection. The first side has 1- "Too Much" and 2- "Playing For Keeps" by ELVIS. The second side has 1- "Chantez-Chantez" AND 2- "Honkeytonk Heart" by DINAH SHORE. The DINAH side has a date stamped ("JAN 5 1957") twice on the white label, plus a white sticker affixed to the left on the label with no writing on it, which is strange, but it's there. The ELVIS side has absolutely no stickers, writing or stampings on it. Again, this EP grades EXCELLENT, although there are a few very light scuffs and surface scratches that are non-intrusive and should not affect the play of this record. These minor detractions are not to the point to where this record should be assigned a VG+ grading, in my opinion. The vinyl is very clean and glossy. See the photos and judge for yourself.

I am gradually listing to sell my Elvis record collection, which I began putting together shortly after The King's untimely demise in 1977. My collection of First Pressings is quite vast and I have always strived for the best quality that I could find, upgrading lesser graded examples along the way. I plan to list primarily 1968 and earlier material, which is the most popular amongst collectors. Stay tuned!

Good luck in your bidding and contact me if you have any questions.
