"Dinner At Eight" is a soundboard recording of Elvis Presley's dinner show in Las Vegas on December 13th, 1975. The tape is different to most of what we call 'soundboards', this concert was recorded on a reel-to reel tape, and not the usual cassette. The show is still in mono though, and there are a few tape problems along the way, but in general it sounds good.
An exellent show from an excellent Las Vegas gig. Elvis is in top shape and delivers a fine performance throughout ! His voice is strong and clear. Enjoy great renditions of songs like Help Me Make It Through The Night, Polk Salad Annie, How Great Thou Art, the anthem America or Trying To Get To You where he showed what he was still able to do vocally.
