This is an original 1967 US stereo pressing. The record features the iconic RCA Victor black labels with silver print and the Nipper dog logo at the top. This specific copy comes in its original gatefold-style sleeve (though this title was a standard jacket) which is still housed in the original factory shrink wrap. The shrink has been opened but remains intact, preserving the cover's surface. Double Trouble represents Elvis Presley's 29th album, released in June 1967. This soundtrack accompanied his 24th motion picture, produced by MGM. This is a genuine first edition pressing. An interesting historical point for collectors: because the songs recorded for the film were unusually short (some under two minutes), RCA added several "bonus songs" to the second side (such as Blue River and Never Ending) to ensure the LP met standard length requirements. This pressing was manufactured at the Hollywood plant, which is often preferred by collectors for its high-quality standards during the 1960s. Finding a copy that still includes the ephemeral "Special Bonus" photo and the catalog insert is increasingly rare, as these items were typically separated from the record by original owners.
