Description
As I continue to auction my 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have the opportunity to bid on this VG+ to EXCELLENT example of "ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM" (LPM-1951) from 1958. The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): H2 PP 6526-18S and (Side 2): H2 PP 6527-19S. On the "19S", the 9 is scrawled in and not stamped. This variety is not shown in Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana". The labels are quite clean, but there are spindle marks and some wear around the spindle hole. The vinyl is so clean and glossy, but there are some superficial scratches that should not have much if any affect on the "New Orthophonic High Fidelity". The cover is NM- and looks magnificent! Great color and sheen. Only the lightest of wear is noticed on the lower portion of the front-center and the edges. A truly beautiful record and cover for the serious collector who desires high-end material. Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VI" (2007) has this particular LP valued at $300 in NM! This album will come with its original gray RCA Victor Inner Sleeve and shipped with the record separated from the cover to prevent seam splits from the record sliding around during transit. Please note: I ship all records in cardboard record mailers and not those flimsy bubblewrap envelopes that offer no real protection against breakage.
