"ELVIS IN CONCERT" (CPL2-2587) RARE BLACK LABELS!!! MINT AND UNPLAYED!!! THE ONLY ONE ON EBAY - MAKE IT YOURS TODAY!!!
For your consideration, "ELVIS IN CONCERT" (CPL2-2587) on the ULTRA-RARE BLACK LABEL!! This is the RARE 1982 reissue as featured in Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VII" and graces the cover of the same publication! It is currently valued at $600 in Mr. Osborne's book! The two records are truly MINT and UNPLAYED as I just broke the seal on January 27, 2014 only to reveal which label variety that has been hiding beneath the factory shrink wrap since I purchased it new in 1982 or '83. I already owned the original issue (APL2-2587) at the time and saw no logical point in opening the album back then. When I just recently learned of the current value in "Presleyana VII", I felt it justified to slit the shrink to see what was inside. The records are MINT and UNPLAYED, as mentioned above and the labels are flawless! They are in their original plain white sleeves with the 1980's style rounded corners. The "RE" cover is Near Mint with the only flaw being a "bump" to the open end edge at some point in the past. The shrink wrap is fully intact on the thinner stock, glossy cover. This album is for the serious collector who has been seeking this elusive rarity for their high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and / or memorabilia. Please see the photos!
