Description
Elvis Presley ~ ELVIS PRESLEY RCA LPM-1254 RCA Victor Mono 1956 historic debut LP with P.D. credit G+. 3S/1S Indianapolis Pressing. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
If this original record is absent from your Elvis collection, then it is incomplete. Released in March of 1956, this self-titled debut expediently soared to number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and spawned a plethora of singles and extended play 45's. Originally on the very 1st pressing, the writers of "Just Because" were unknown and credited fo P.D. for Public Domain as shown in this pressing (3S/1S Indianapolis). Of course, when the record soared to number 1 on Billboard, the writers expediently made their claim and were appropriately credited on subsequent pressings. With more than moderate fraying, cracking, and chipping along the spine and top seam, the jacket, otherwise looks splendid, devoid of any names or writing. Despite the chipping, the seams and spine are still in tact, but are very delicate, so it grades at G+. Likewise, and more importantly, the record and labels look decent, and the playback quality is solid with sporadic crackle to rate at G+ displaying a moderate amount of light scuffs and scratches. In addition, the original rice paper sleeve is also included to complete the package. GOOD LUCK & no international bidders please.....
