Description
Elvis Presley ~ ELVIS PRESLEY RCA LPM-1254 RCA Victor Mono 1956 historic debut LP with P.D. credit G/VG (sonically and visually). 3S/5S Indianapolis Pressing. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
If this original record is absent from your Elvis collection, then it is incomplete. Released in March of 1956, this self-titled debut expediently soared to number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and spawned a plethora of singles and extended play 45's. Originally on the very 1st pressing, the writers of "Just Because" were unknown and credited to P.D. for Public Domain as shown in this pressing (3S/5S Indianapolis). Of course, when the record soared to number 1 on Billboard, the writers expediently made their claim and were appropriately credited on subsequent pressings. In this very first pressing example, the vinyl plays through error free from front to back with sporadic pops and crackles to the tune of VG-, displaying a handful of light scuffs and scratches. Meanwhile, the jacket, although devoid of any writing or stickers, displays excessive edgewear, so I will just grade it as G. Here is your chance to own a very 1st pressing that is still very playable for cheap! Thanks for looking and don't hesitate on this one! GOOD LUCK & no international bidders please.....
