Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY - released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-747 dog on top) is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition retaining some of it's natural sheen with quite a few visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.(see photos)
The centre labels have NO WRITING but do have some ringwear/rubbing.(see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $65 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 60 years old and is in nice condition for the age.(see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some scuff marks, a piece of tape on the top, a partial seam split along the bottom and a price written on the rear(see photos)
That said , This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that Mint $130 record and sleeve come along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $85(£60 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £62.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
