'Item Description'
Overall: Here is one of the earliest Extended Plays from Elvis done in early 1956. This is the rare double EP set featuring two records from Elvis and it came in the cardboard EP double cover that opened up into a gatefold format. Very hard to find, as this is one of the rare ad back covers that features other RCA products on the back cover, the more common cover has a text back and pictures of Elvis.
Cover: Cover overall is in nice shape, dose have some ring wear starting at bottom from cover, otherwise the front back and rear cover just suffer from some overall aging to the white background.
Edges and Spine: Edges, top and bottom and spine are in terrific shape, no rips tears, etc on any of the edges, it has survived well and also the spine in fine shape will all the title and names clearly still visible.
Vinyl Record: The vinyl on both records is in great great shape, quite a survivor from all those years ago. Labels are also in super nice condition, just a great look, on one side of each label is a spot here it looks like a sticker may have been attached at some point, but are now gone. No damage to the label occurred, looks like a bit of nearly transparent sticker residue still remains holding these records back just a pinch. Have not tried to remove the residue but probably would come off with water. Two very nice records and of course original.
Other: Very tough to find EP from the very genesis of Rock and Roll.
