Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-747 dog on top) is ONLY in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD- condition with quite a few visible marks/scratches.
The centre labels have NO WRITING!!!(see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $65 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 55 years old and shows a few signs of age.
There are NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is the start of seam wear partially on the bottom spine in the middle and some staining on the front and rear(see photos)
This is the RARE release of this sleeve WITH the adverts for Music By Startlight,Passion In Paint,Two Peple Alone,Sax In Silk and Soft and Sweet.
This is one of 7 great different versions of this ORIGINAL sleeve!!
This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint £100 record and sleeve comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80(£51 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
