Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Elvis' Christmas Album," by Elvis Presley. See pictures for song list. This was released by RCA Victor (LOC 1035) in 1957. Interior labels have "Long Play" at the bottom, with a deep groove on either side. Stamped matrix info reads H2 PP6526- 1S with "B2" stamped at the 9 o'clock position on the dead wax in the matrix area / H2 PP6527-1S with "C2" stamped at the twelve o'clock position and the number "1" stamped at the three o'clock position on the dead wax in the matrix area. LP is VG+ with light scuffs on either side. This LP also has a couple of tiny light scratches on either side. This LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and a couple of pops) but no skips. Interior labels are very clean. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is wear on all seams and corners. There is some tearing and wear along the textured material on the binding of the spine and the back of the jacket (see pictures). There is a crease in the back top left corner. Interior booklet is still attached to the interior spine of the gatefold. Interior of the gatefold is very clean. Colors on the entire jacket remain bright and the front and back of the jacket retain a nice gloss. Don't miss this rare gem!
