Description
This is the RCA Victor Records 1957 release of the Elvis Presley LP Elvis' Christmas Album record number LOC - 1035. This was sold in this configuration with this cover and multi page booklet, I believe only for the Christmas season of 1957. The cover is in a nice clean presentable VG Condition. The booklet inside is still attached with no rips, writing etc. and you will be able to view pics of each of the pages above. The front and back cover show very nicely with no overly excessive wear. It should be noted that on the front cover there are some thin creases in the front lamination here and there and I tried to get the cover at the correct angle to show this, which you should be able to view some of them in the picture above of the front with the record partially out on the right side. The binding for the fold open cover has dried out and detached from the back portion of the fold open cover but appears to all be there although some of the thin top layer of the red binding has chipped off. There are 2 pictures of the binding on the spine you can click on above to view. Except for a small area on the bottom right where there is an approximate 1 1/4 or so piece of tape at that seam, the rest of the bottom and top seam are in tact. Sorry for the long description of the cover but I want to notate any flaws I've noticed. The record is in a Strong VG- to a possible VG condition and is NOT trashed. When holding this under a stark bright light there are definitely enough thin lines, the vast majority of which appear to be thin surface lines which would not warrant me to grade this higher than a VG-, but again NOT trashed. Shipping in the U.S. is $5.25. If you would like Ins. please let me know and I will check the Post Office rates which go according to your Zip Code. If you win more than one auction I will calculate to adjust the shipping.
