Description

This is a solid copy of the 1956 debut album "Elvis Presley" from Elvis Presley.   RCA Victor LPM-1254 and Mono.  Not quite sure where this one came from, but it's been in our family since I was a kid.  I have listen tested this LP, as I do every piece of vinyl I offer, and I try to be conservative, but using the Goldmine scale I will rate the vinyl as VG-.  It's better than good+, in that the sound quality is really pretty nice.  Run through my old SAE noise reducer this record is a solid and enjoyable listen.  Straight off of the turntable there is a good bit of background noise.  Exterior cardboard jacket I'll call VG-/G+ as well.  Still has good color, but there is light scuffing, minor corner rounding, and the top seam is split along its length.  Interior paper sleeve I'll rate G+/VG- also.  Very nice color, but 3" splits on two seam and a 2" tear at the open edge.  Does have a name written on the front cover.  The record that started it all.  It's 69 years old, but you won't be disappointed by the experience.   In my family record rack for decades, and now ready to join your collection for your listening pleasure!
