Description

Please see pictures for details.

The LP that started it all; the first rock and roll album ever to make it to the top of the charts, and the first million-selling album of the rock and roll genre. An awesome historical record. The jacket seams, face, back, and spine are all worn. The top seam and bottom seam are split. The spine is intact and legible but there is some paper loss in the center of the spine. The record will ship outside the jacket to help prevent splitting.  The record has several light to moderate scratches - visually I would grade it as good to good plus.  The record plays strong with some surface noise but does not interfere with the music. The record did not skip for me. It was a delight to hear it again. Modern releases do not do this justice. Based on the numbers in the run out area of the disc I believe this is an original 1956 Indianapolis pressing.

Record is in an archival sleeve, a vintage RCA poly-lined sleeve comes with but don't think it's original to this pressing.  Shipped with USPS Media Mail to contiguous US only. Thanks for looking.
