Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1959 release of I Need Your Love tonight / A Fool Such As I released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7506 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visual marks/ scratches but nothing too deep.
The labels have NO WRITING but do have a couple of non sticky residue marks from where a couple of labels have been removed(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $250 (£170) even in the condition it is in now(which i would say is ONLY in VERY GOOD- / GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 58 years old and is a really hard one to find (especially at this lower starting price!).
This is the MEGA RARE issue with the advert for the extended play of Elvis Sails. (the standard release has a list of Elvis' current singles and e.p releases at the time)
The colours are quite bright and the sleeve has NO WRITING!!
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some discolouration/staining/scuff marks , tape marks/seam splits along the side and a piece of the sleeve missing on the rear(hence the much lower starting price)
That all said this would make a fantastic affordable collection filler until that mint $500+ sleeve comes along!

Overall this was valued at about $430 (£175) back in 2012 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £180.
I will start this at UNDER A QUARTER OF THAT!!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
PLEASE REMEMBER THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS RARITY IF / WHEN PLACING A BID BUT ALSO REMEMBER THAT THIS RARE VARIATION DOES NOT COME ALONG VERY OFTEN!!!!! (especially at this price!)
