Up for auction is this RARE Gold Standard Series Elvis Presley EP, Elvis Sails. Both the jacket and record are in incredibly nice condition. They are at least VG++ condition. You'll have a hard time finding a nicer copy of this EP.
First released when Elvis went into the Army, this is a speaking record only. No music is included. In 1965 RCA rereleased this under the Gold Standard Series moniker. GSS were produced in smaller numbers hence the rarity of them. Only the orange label version of this one is more rare.
In 1968 RCA reissued most of the Elvis EP's using orange labels. Not many were pressed and now are considered some of the rarest and hardest to find Elvis records.
