Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND 1958 EP release ELVIS SAILS released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4325 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with a few marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic)
The centre labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING!!!(see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $85-90 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
This is 55 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some discouration/scuff marks (nothing drastic though)
This also has the 1959 calender on the rear and the wall hangable centre hole punch in the centre ( later bootleg copies had no hole)
THIS ONE RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE AND IS ONLY THE 3rd ORIGINAL COPY I HAVE EVER SOLD IN 11 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!!!!
This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection!.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $150+(£100 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £110+.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
A MINT COPY OF THE RECORD AND SLEEVE WOULD SET YOU BACK $200+(£135+)
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
