Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND 1965 EP release ELVIS SAILS released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-5157 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with a few marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic)
The centre labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING but do have some rubbing/ringwear(see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $100 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 54 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
This would have graded a lot better if it was not for the amount of writing on the rear and some on the front(see photos)
There is also seam splits along the top and bottom and some staining on the front.(see photos)
THIS ONE RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE AND IS ONLY THE 2ND ORIGINAL COPY I HAVE EVER SOLD IN 10 YEARS OF SELLING ON EBAY!!!!!!
This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection!.
PLEASE REMEMBER THE CONDITION OF THE SLEEVE IF/WHEN PLACING A BID!
THE SLEEVE WILL ONLY SERVE AS A COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT $200 MINT SLEEVE COMES ALONG!!!!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $130+(£85 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £90+.
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
A MINT COPY OF THE RECORD AND SLEEVE WOULD SET YOU BACK $250+(£165+)
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
