ELVIS PRESLEY - "FOR LP FANS ONLY" (LPM-1990) - SECOND PRESSING WITH ERROR COVER SHOWING THE SAME PHOTO ON BOTH SIDES!
RECORD: EXCELLENT with glossy surfaces! There are some very light sleeve scuffs and a few non-intrusive surface scratches. This record should play very well! This Second Pressing has the "RCA Victor" logo now in white, with "Monaural" at the base of the NM labels. The matrix numbers on this Indianapolis pressing are 1S/7S. This has been a very well cared for record that was more than likely adult-owned since new.
COVER: VG with some minor splitting on the upper seam that does not extend to the corner (see photo). There is some light staining at the base, visible within the white border. The spine and lower seam are sound with just some light wear. There are a couple minor bend marks along with some light to moderate ring wear on both sides. There is definitely no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover. It is unknown how many of these covers showing the same photo on both sides escaped the factory before being noticed. Jerry Osborne, in his "Presleyana VII" has a Near Mint value of $450 placed on these covers! Although this is a VG cover, it remains very presentable and well worthy of placement in any collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
