Elvis Presley - FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS - Mobile Fidelity - MFSL - MINT vinyl MOFI

Up for auction is a copy of Elvis Presley's FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS.  Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 1-059.  Condition is (cover/record) 8-/9, graded by a fussy collector.  See grading scale at bottom of description.
Record is mint, though I'll hold off grading it a 10 considering that the cover is around a M-.  Cover has a bit of softening to the upper seam, but it is NOT split.  There is also just a SLIGHT bit of wear visible to the lower part of front cover, a small ding to the rear lower left corner with just a bit of wear to the spine below that small section.  No split.  There is also a 9/16" circular sticker with open center on the lower right rear corner - this may be removable, but I'll leave that up to the new owner of this copy.  All original inserts pictured - stiffener, Geo-Disc advertisement, warranty certificate, and rice paper sleeve - are included.
Record will be shipped by USPS Media or Priority Mail (your choice).  First shipping charge stated in auction is a quote to ship a 2 pound, 14" square package from my zip code to Southern California via Media Mail.  Please write with any questions, if you need a shipping quote, etc.
Please see my other current listings.
Thank you for your interest.  Good luck.

Grading scale (there are no grades below 6, as I don't have any records for sale below that grade)
Covers Gem Mint 10 – Cover is virtually perfect, without defect.
Mint 9 – Cover has no visible wear.  Colors are full and bright.  There will be no serious defects.
Near Mint 8 – Cover seems new at first glance, but has some barely noticeable wear.  Colors are full, but may be subdued.  White areas may have some very slight aging.
Excellent 7 – Cover has some very minor wear, but no serious defects.  Some minor friction or light flaking may exist.  Corners are relatively sharp, with maybe some minor wear.  May have some age mellowing of the white and colored areas.
Very Good-Excellent 6 – Some moderate wear will be noticeable on artwork, but there will be no serious problems.  Corners will not have significant wear.

Records Gem Mint 10 – Vinyl has no imperfections.
Mint 9 – Vinyl has no meaningful imperfections.  Vinyl luster is full.
Near Mint 8 – Vinyl has a few minor imperfections and should play without noticeable surface noise.  Vinyl luster is nearly full.
Excellent 7 – Vinyl has a few noticeable imperfections.  Vinyl still displays some luster.  Record may play with some slight surface noise, but nothing very distracting.
Very Good 6 – Vinyl has more noticeable, but not major, imperfections.  May display some original luster.  Record may play with some more surface noise than a grade 7, but will not overwhelm the sound.
