ELVIS PRESLEY - "FROM MEMPHIS TO VEGAS" (LSP-6020) - FIRST PRESSING WITH SONGWRITER CREDITS ERROR ON LABEL AND BOTH BONUS PHOTOS! 

RECORDS:  Play great! Both records retain much original gloss and just some very light spindle marks on the labels. Record 1 has a bit more surface scuffs and light scratches than Record 2, so I grade it as VG. It played great upon test, with no skips, repeats or annoying "ticks". The Side 2 label has the songwriter error, crediting Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart on "Words", instead of B. Gibb, M. Gibb, R. Gibb. "Suspicious Minds" is credited to Frances Zambon instead of Mark James. Record 2 is a solid VG+ with just a few very light surface scuffs and it plays beautifully! The records are from the Hollywood plant and bear matrix numbers 6S/6S for Record 1 and 6S/5S for Record 2.       

COVER:  VG+ solid and possessing great eye-appeal. The reason for missing the grade of EXCELLENT is due to some corner wear at the open end which includes a very tiny split at the two upper seams. These are very minor and trivial, to say the least, but enough to warrant a down-grade in my opinion. Very slight ring wear on this cover, unlike most encountered due to the majority of the cover being black on both sides. This cover is very clean and still glossy! Some light edge wear is noticed. The inside of the gatefold cover remains like new; clean & glossy with absolutely no writing! This is a nice copy.

BONUS PHOTOS:  Photo "B" (as assigned in "Presleyana VII" - Jerry Osborne) shows Elvis sitting in his black leather outfit and holding his guitar. This photo is VG+ with some smudges, a little corner wear and some scattered wrinkling. The back shows a bit of discoloration from age and a finger smudge to the top. Photo "C" shows Elvis standing in his black leather outfit holding a microphone. This photo is VG with a bit more wrinkling, some corner wear, smudging and foxing at the upper portion, which includes Elvis' face and surrounding area. The back has a light stain to the upper left along with some discoloration from age. There is no evidence of tape or thumb-tack holes on either photo.   

INNER SLEEVES:  The original "ELVIS" LP Catalog inner sleeves from the era, although there are a few side & bottom splits.
