Description
One of the nicest album covers and LPs I have come across in years. The only flaw is on the back side of the cover on the upper left corner which I have pictured in a close-up. It appears to be a spot of dried chocolate. It most likely can be removed easily by carefully using a damp paper towel to dissolve it.
If you notice , I have pictured both sides of the LP as it appears in its glassine envelope which is slightly foxed and folded. It is also opened at two edges instead of just one. The surface of the LP is beautiful and I whoever owned it did not play it much and took very good care of it. I can see no scratches on either side. I have shown close ups of both labels and as you can see they are also barely used. I would say, except for the small spots in the back upper left corner, the cover rates a 9 out of 10. The are no splits or damage to the corners or edges. This is the first edition, mono or as they said back in 1956 orthophonic high fidelity. I have not played the album as I am not set up for it any more. It has the deep ring groove around the label indicating an early pressing.
Please note almost immediately upon listing this album I was asked a question which I posted below. Please note what is visible is so under close scrutiny with a blue tint HI-POWER LED flashlight. They are extremely minor and I doubt there would be any effect upon playback.
