Description
Shown is an original USA pressing of the 1959 album from Elvis "For LP Fans Only" catalogue number LPM-1990. This is a 1S/1S mono pressing and sounds fantastic! This doesn't come up much but this is a nice example.
The sleeve has a readable spine, but is starting to wear. The front and rear cover have signs of ringwear and general wear to the printing. On the rear there is a small sticker and date written in the top-right corner. An RCA company sleeve is included, however it isn't accurate to the period during which this album was released. Overall, I'd grade the sleeve as VG but it isn't terrible for a 66 year old album compared to most examples.
The vinyl has surface marks visible, however this record seriously sounds amazing. Once the music starts playing, forget about any of the imperfections, because it sounds great! There is minor surface noise that you'll hear throughout playback, however I heard no significant pops or deviations, and while there are surface marks there are no deep scratches which affect play. The labels have spindle wear but still look good. Overall. I'd grade the vinyl as VG+ as it still plays really well.
