Description
From 1959, here is a hard to find first pressing of a collectable Elvis Presley Lp featuring songs from the Sun label and early RCA cuts, plus one from the Love Me Tender soundtrackvvvvv0.
The original thick cardboard record cover is graded Very Good Plus due to a 5" upper edge seam split. There is no ring wear, writing, or spine wear. The spine corners are sharp. The glossy cover photo and back cover photo are very nice. White mark on bottom back is from camera flash.
The record vinyl is visually and play graded Very Good Plus. There are two inaudible 1/2" scuff hairlines on side two. The vinyl shows no other marks. The record sounds great with fine fidelity.
The first press silver print labels are nice with light spindle marks (see scans).
The matrix numbers in the runoff are Side 1: J2PP-8070-3S (hand etched) B1 (stamped), Side 2: J2 PP8071-3S A2 (all machine stamped) (see photos).
Tough to find in this condition.
