Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Excellent+ (Supremely Sharp and clear sound, minimal if any crackle at all throughout the tracks, minimal if any background noise in between tracks, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no loud pops or clicks Excellent + sound quality (Playtested 9th November 2006)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good - (Looks well played on both sides, there are quite a number of light superficial surface marks covering the record and there are 1 or 2 light feelable scratches on the record which do not affect playback, some slight scuffing on side 1, quite a lot of spindle marks on the label but no major wear around the spindle hole on side 1 and 2, no major tears to the label either)

Album Cover Grade:  Very Good- (slight creasing to the bottom front right corner but all other 3 corners have no creases of any significance, no serious spine splits or edge splits but some slight slight wear and rubbing along the top edge, no rips or tears in the sleeve apart from a very slight surface tear on the bottom arched flipback which is only about 2 cm long, slight corner rubbing, hardly any ringwear on the front and back, no laminate lifting or peeling or any significance, overall a decent sleeve)

I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
