ELVIS - GUARANTEED TO BE AN ORIGINAL SUN 78 Elvis second record! and also the second of the four early Elvis Sun records I will be listing. SONGS ARE: GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT / I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE SUN # 210 from the year 1955. I am pretty sure that was the year it came out. Engraved on each side is U-131 72 41121 , and u-130-2 72 41120. (the 4 may be a triangle) Labels are in very good condition with the exception of the  ring around the center hole (see pictures). The vinyl is in good condition with no cracks or deep scratches. There are some minor surface scuffs or scratches  but I cannot feel them with my finger and they do not seem to affect the play. No skips or jumps. It does show some sign of wear from playing. It probably needs a good cleaning but I heard some low hiss in the background in places on my player. Probably from play wear is my thought. I adjusted it down some with my tone control. The Good Rockin'Tonight side had more hiss the other side was really very good and had almost none. I am not a record professional so keep that in mind! I had to borrow a record player so I could listen to these. My own player only does CDs not 10" records!! I guess times have changed. I do try to describe my listings as accurately as possible and almost all my customers say their item was as described or better. Please check my feedback. I believe this was Elvis second record. What a great addition to your collection. It was neat to hold a piece of history in my hands and here it play over 50 years later!! I bet the value of these are sure to go up over time. This album comes from a collection that dates back to the 1940's. I have 4 of Elvis Sun records I will be listing in seperate auctions (another 209, 210, 223). Plus a number of his other early records plus Buddy Holly and Carl Perkins to name a few. Johnny Cash first SUN record etc. This guy had over 800 records!!! (Whew this is going to take awhile!).
