Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964/1965 Gold Standard Series single Good Rockin' Tonight released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0602 Dog On side )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are a few visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The labels are quite bright, however have some pen lines on the Good Rockin' Tonight side, which blend into the background(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOODcondition.
This sleeve is over 49 years old and has NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases.(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and will make an adequate affordable collecetion filler until that mint $350 (£230+) record and sleeve comes along!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $210+(£136) , so i guess it must now be at least £140.
I will start this at under A THIRD OF THAT!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
