Further Details
This is a beautiful album and cover. The record is a strong VG++. The front cover has the much sought-after sticker announcing "Featuring the Hit Single My Boy". The only drawback is that the cover is a cut-out (as is the case with many of these covers with this sticker).
Items of Note
This album has number of great songs on it. One of my personal favorites is “Lovin’ Arms.” I really enjoy the poetry and irony of the line “…looking back and longing for the freedom of my chains….” Elvis’ version of this song can be heard in the recent 2021 movie Godzilla vs. Kong during the scene where Kong has been sedated and is being transported on a ship. The music for the movie was done by Tom Holkenborg – a Dutch composer whose stage name is Junkie XL (a.k.a., JXL). You may recognize the name from the 2002 remix of the Elvis song “A Little Less Conversation.” Here’s hoping Mr. Holkenborg continues to include Elvis songs in movies he is part of.
The album also contains another one of my favorite Elvis songs from the 70’s – “I’ve Got a Thing About You Baby.”
A Little About Me
I first became an Elvis fan in the fall of 1976 and received my first Elvis record for Christmas that year (from my uncle – it was a tan label “Live at Madison Square Garden” because my uncle liked the song “Never Been to Spain”). I am selling some of the records from my collection in hopes that they may bring as much joy to other Elvis fans and collectors as they have to me.
Upcoming Elvis Biopic
Be sure to check out the movie about Elvis that comes out next week (June 24) starring Austin Butler as Elvis and Tom Hanks as Colonel Parker. To view the trailer, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBDLRvjHVOY

All records are shipped via media mail in cardboard record mailers designed specifically to ship records safely and securely. Records will be shipped outside their covers to prevent any potential seam splits from developing in transit.
