Description

Incredibly Rare First Ever UK LP Release for Elvis Presley Rock 'N ' Roll on HMV CLP 1093

2XAV 255-1N and 2XAV 256-1N matrices .... 1 GG and 1 L  Mothers/Stampers on runout grooves ....INDICATING VERY EARLY AND RARE 1ST UK PRESSING....rare RT Tax Code embossed on side 2 label....

The labels are in superb condition...at least EX

The vinyl has hairlines and scuffs but nothing of significance....looks very nice....there is background noise at varying levels throughout....side 1 starts at G level and improves throughout to VG by the end of the side.....side 2 starts G and improves slightly to G+ by the end......really does play nicely all the way through with no needle sticks, skips or jumps.....very rare!

The original sleeve has damage as can be seen in the photos....there are small 3 pieces mssing from the front and 1 from the rear...the rear is much better than the front...good whiteness...no writing anywhere on the cover.....just a little wear to the middle of the spine though most of the text can still be made out.......overall can only be FAIR which is pretty much average for this lp these days....

Includes original polylined inner sleeve....
