Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release of He Touched / Bosom Of Abraham released in the USA.
The vinyl record itself (74-0651)is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The labels are quite bright , however have a name written on one side.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $100 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is ONLY VERY GOOD/ VERY GOOD- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 43 years old and shows minimal signs of ageing.
There are a few flaws which stop this from grading higher (hence the much lower starting price)
There is some water damage, ringwear / creases , scuff marks, small rips to the top opener and a seam split along one side.
On the plus side there is NO WRITING!!
THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £175 RECORD AND SLEEVE COME ALONG!!!
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $125(£83 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £85.
With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer discounted shipping on multiple purchases. (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF APRIL 2015
