Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 His Masters Voice release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Heartbreak Hotel / I Was The One released in the U.K.
The record itself (7M 385 )is visually in VERY GOOD condition with quite a few visible surface marks/scratches.(nothing too deep though)
I have play tested this through on both sides and whilst there is some surface noise (not exceptionally noisy) there are NO SKIPS or JUMPS.
It actually plays better than it looks.
The centre labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING!.(they are a bit brighter than the photos show)
There is some slight label damage on the I Was The One side from where the original centre was removed(see photo2)
The matrix numbers are 7XAV-1422-IN / 7XAV-1423-IN.
This is the release with SMOOTH outer label edges (rather than the more common cerrated edged release)
Also stamped at 3 o clock on the trail off is the letter M and at 9 o clock is RT1.
This also comes with an ORIGINAL HMV sleeve.
Overall This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £200-350 record comes along!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
PLEASE REMEMBER THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD IF/WHEN PLACING A BID!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
