Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1959 release of I Need Your Love tonight / A Fool Such As I released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7506 ) is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen .
There are some marks / scratches but nothing too deep.
The labels are bright and have NO WRITING but there is a small numbered sticker on one side (see photos)
This also has the added bonus of being a 1ST pressing , as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as a cool $375 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is in VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 61 years old and is reasonable for the age(see photos).
The colours are nice and bright and there is NO WRITING ( see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is ringwear / creases and both of the sides have been taped along the sides, where I assume there were seam splits ( tape along the sides is very common with this release as are glue marks on the rear due to the thin paper used for this particular sleeve!)
That all said this is a nice affordable collection filler until that much more expensive record and sleeve come along!
THIS ONE RARELY COMES UP FOR AUCTION!!!!
Overall this was valued at about $385 (£308) back in 2016 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £315.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
