Description
This is an auction for a RARE ORIGINAL copy of the 1959 single I Need Your Love Tonight / A Fool Such As I released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7506 dog on top ) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/scratches (nothing that can be felt)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING ( see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $350 in the condition it is in now (which I would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
There is some ringwear/ creases , small writing on the front with a small tear to the top opener and the 98c price stamp on the front.( see phots)
On the plus side this is the MEGA RARE version with Elvis Sails advert on the rear ( rather than the more common list of previous titles ( see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this rare sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $360 (£330 approx.)
I don't have a current price guide but i would say at least £340.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
This would be an affordable filler in any collection until that £500+ MINT copy comes along!
