Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7035 )is in EXCELLENT condition . (looks almost unplayed!)
THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!!
The labels are CRISP , CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 57 years old and is in great condition for the age(see photos)
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear and a small water stain (both on the Jailhouse Rock side of the sleeve)
This is still a great affordable collection filler until that MINT $130 record and sleeve comes along!
Overall this was valued at about $105(£65) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £68.
I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!
This, as with ALL of my picture sleeve releases comes housed in a separate paper sleeve containing the record and a protective poly sleeve to help try and prevent ny further future wear!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA and Japanese picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple shipping!!(Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF APRIL 2014
