Description
ELVIS PRESLEY - “KING CREOLE” (LPM-1884), A FIRST PRESSING OF THIS ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING, COMPLETE WITH THE RARE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER BONUS PHOTO FROM 1958 RECORD: VG+ with some light, scattered surface scratches & scuffs on the glossy vinyl. This Indianapolis pressing was test-played in its entirety and the sound was great! Strong vocals and instrumentation, but with some minor "ticks" in some softer areas of the music. The labels are without any writing or stickers, but do show some foxing and light spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in August of 1958 and includes the hit single, "Hard Headed Woman / Don't Ask Me Why". The matrix numbers end with 4S/2S. COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. Some light ring wear and foxing is present, however. A clean, solid and very attractive cover! INNER SLEEVE: The original "RCA Victor" sleeve from the era. There are a couple of central edge splits.
BONUS PHOTO: VG++ (EXC) with sharp corners, nice gloss and no pinholes or tape residue. However, there are a couple of subtle bends from handling. Rare this nice!
