Items of Note
If you haven’t seen this movie in a while, check it out again. Elvis’ charisma really comes through – particularly during his singing scenes, and it is easy to see how he became such a huge megastar. Vic Morrow, who played “Shark” in the movie was also one of the main actors in the 1960’s TV series “Combat” and was killed in a tragic accident on the set of “Twilight Zone: the Movie” in 1982 (along with two child actors).
