I’m continuing to downsize the Elvis records in my vinyl collection, so please check out my other auctions.

In this auction are TWO LPs:

LP #1:

·       “Kissin’ Cousins” original MGM soundtrack LP by Elvis Presley.

·       This is RCA VICTOR RECORDS LSP-2894

·       This is the STEREO PRESSING. .

·       This LP was released in 1964.

·       This is the FIRST COVER issued for this LP. It is the RARER of the two covers that were issued with this vinyl. The cover in this auction does NOT have the small black & white photo of six cast members at lower right corner.

·       There are 2 other differences when you compare the rear cover slicks, too:

A.  This FIRST COVER has TWO RCA DOG& GRAMOPHONE LOGOS with “His Master’s Voice” printed underneath above the Side 1 and Side 2 song track listings. The revised cover does NOT have these two logos.

B.   This FIRST COVER has a LARGER YELLOW RECTANGULAR BOX with the printing “ALSO”, “Echoes of Love” and “(It’s a) Long Lonely Highway”. It is much larger than the same yellow box on the revised cover.

·       This FIRST COVER is in VG CONDITION. There is moderate wear on the front cover (partial ring wear), corner wear and edge wear on the top and bottom seams, but there are NO seam splits. There is much flaking sporadically on the spine with some paper loss on about half of the spine when all of the flaked spots are added together. The rear cover has light wear, less than on the front cover.

·       The VINYL is graded NEAR MINT .

·       This LP comes with its ORIGINAL PAPER INNER SLEEVE. The sleeve advertises the Elvis catalog with reel-to-reel tapes and 8-track tapes pictured in addition to LPs.

LP #2:

·       “Kissin’ Cousins” original MGM soundtrack LP by Elvis Presley.

·       This is RCA VICTOR RECORDS LSP-2894

·       This is the STEREO PRESSING. .

·       This LP was issued in 1971.

·       The COVER included in this auction is the much more common cover. This cover HAS the small black & white photo of six cast members at lower right.

·       The COVER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. It is still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink has a 2-inch tear on the bottom at the opening and on the reverse there is a 6-inch split in the shrink wrap at the bottom near the opening. There is very slight wear on the corners at the opening.

·       The VINYL is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with some very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs. The labels are orange and the vinyl is flexible which identifies this LP as the 1971 pressing.

·       This LP also comes with its ORIGINAL PAPER INNER SLEEVE. The sleeve advertises ONLY the Elvis LP catalog on vinyl.
