ELVIS PRESLEY - “LOVING YOU” (LPM-1515), A VG++ (EXC) FIRST PRESSING OF ELVIS' THIRD ALBUM, AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1957 RECORD: VG+ on the upper end of the scale with original glossy surfaces! There are just a few very light surface marks that have no effect on the audible performance. I test-played this Indianapolis pressing in its entirety and the result was amazing! Very strong vocals and instrumentation, although there is some very light surface noise (or static), but definitely no annoying "ticks" or "pops" and definitely no skips or repeats. This album was obviously adult-owned throughout its existence! The labels are simply beautiful with just a couple very light spindle marks and a bit of wear about the Side 2 spindle hole area. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in July of 1957 and includes the double-hit single "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear / Loving You". The matrix numbers on this record are the very earliest, ending with 1S/1S. COVER: NM- with just a small amount of wear to the open end corner tips as well as very trivial (and barely noticeable) 1-inch vertical scratch on the back side. A small number sticker (18) is affixed to the extreme upper left corner on the front. Other than that, this is a super clean, original 60-year-old cover, boasting bold colors and a beautiful, glossy front slick! You will not find a cleaner cover for this issue. INNER SLEEVE: The original glassine (or "onion skin") sleeve from the era. A couple of edge splits are noticed. The record will come housed in a plain white sleeve for shipping purposes.
