Description
LPM 1254 MONO. Pressed in USA 1956. VG+/G+
An early USA pressing of Rock 'n Roll's historical Elvis Presley debut RCA Album! This particular pressing is 58 years old and is in good and playable condition. I have encountered records which had many surface scuffs, and yet played through without any problems - this is another one of those records. It plays though without sticking or jumping, and very little background noise. The cover is in very good nick!
The album cover is in very good condition. The print on the spine is clear and legible - the only defect is split half way across the top seam, towards the opening. There is no handwriting or creases.
I have test played this record prior to listing. I would grade the vinyl disk as in good plus condition. Side 1 has several superficial scuffs and marks - played through with no problems. Side 2 is in worse condition - it has lots of scratches which prove only superficial - see photos - it plays without a single skip or sticking. There is very little background crackle. The disk is in very good playing condition!
Spindle labels are clear and in good condition.
