Description

Elvis Presley LPM-1254 Self Titled 1956 Rockabilly RCA Victor LP Fair Condition. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.

Record Condition: F (Fair)

This record has seen better days. It’s covered in many surface scratches. Despite this, the vinyl still has a decent amount of gloss. Overall, the LP plays better than you would expect. There is definitely noticeable surface noise (especially during the quiet ballads), but it’s not very distracting from the music. You might notice some distortion on the higher notes, but it’s not too bad. Unfortunately, there are some scratches and some groove damage on “Blue Moon” and “Money Honey” that cause hissing and multiple skips. The labels have fairly heavy wear on them, but they are still easily readable.

Cover: F (Fair)

As you can see in the photos, the front cover has heavy ring wear, creases, and some small tears in the artwork (there are some tears that appear to have been filled in with black ink at some point!). Despite this, the cover still looks pretty nice considering. The rear cover is overall the same story, with tears, creases, and staining from age. All of the seams have been taped (multiple times in some areas). The spine is still readable.

Does not have original factory inner sleeve.

As you can see, this LP is not in particularly great shape, but I think it still has enough life in it to give someone some enjoyment, rather it be on the turntable or in a frame on a wall.

Shipping:

U.S. buyers only please (sorry for the inconvenience).

I will ship the album in a standard LP mailing box, with cardboard stiffeners to better protect the record. The cover and record will be shipped in a plastic archive sleeve with the record removed from the cover to prevent further seam splitting.

Happy bidding, Elvis fans!
