Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6643 ) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic though.
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is the RARER issued WITH the silver horizontal line. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+) for the sleeve alone!!!
THIS IS 2 OF THE 2 PINK SLEEVES ISSUED , THIS BEING THE DARK PINK (rather than the alternative light pink)
This sleeve is 64 years old and there are a few things that stop this from grading higher.
There is some ringwear/creases and some writing on the front and rear (see photos)
Overall this was valued at about $80(£60) back in 2016 , so I would guess this would have to be at least £62
I will start this at under HALF of that!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases.! (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AND EBAY AND PAYPAL TAKING 10% OF THE POSTAGE COSTS
