Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Love Me Tender released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA- 4006 dog on top) is in EXCELLENT- condition with a few visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains A lot of it's natural sheen. (looks hardly played!)
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING! (see photos).
This is the RARER pressing WITH HORIZONTAL SILVER LINE. (see photos)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $40 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 63 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
The only thing that stops this from grading is some age discolouration and a name written on the front (see photos)
On the plus side there are NO SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS(see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£53+ approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
