Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of STICTLY ELVIS by ELVIS PRESLEY - released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 994 NO DOG ON LABEL) is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches but nothing deep or drastic.(see photos)
The centre labels are clean and have NO WRITING!.(see photos)
This is the MEGA RARE issue with NO DOG on the label.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $45 in the condition it is in now, which i would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 59 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There are No Major Flaws, however there are a few that stop this from grading higher (see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is ringwear/scuff marks, a partial seam split on the top and a non sticky mark on the rear from where a label has been removed.
That all said, This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £200+ No Dog record and sleeve copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at £110
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £115.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases! (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF APRIL 2015
